Lenovo S10-2 10-Inch White Netbook - 6 Cell Battery Review

I purchased my Lenovo S10-2 in April ‘09. I’ve found it to be surprisingly useful. At home I use it extensively to surf the net and keep up on email. I no longer carry my larger laptop back and forth to work. I’ve loaded the little S10 with all of the same software as I use on my primary computer (MS Office Professional, Visio, Project, Adobe, etc.). It’s only a little slow to load the applications and works great in a pinch. I’d make it my primary computer, but the screen is too small and scrolling back and forth all day can be tiring. Still, it’s very handy for travel or when I don’t want to carry my larger laptop. It fits easily in my carry on and add about the same weight as a book. Keep in mind you’ll need also carry an external drive if you want to watch DVDs.

This netbook blows my wife’s MSI Wind out of the water. It seems as if Lenovo got almost everything right. I use it daily for web surfing, email, Openoffice, Skype, etc.

I got this 10″ laptop for under 0. I am very much impressed by the features. I think its worth its price…

The only problem i came across now is that web cam doesn’t work with the hot key button, its a software problem, and now I will have to call the customer service…..160 GB and wifi and very light weight.. i think its better than 8.9″ screen size, which you might get cheaper but it way too small…10″ is the perfect and you can take it all around ur house with wireless internet. I would recommend this netbook without any reservations. hope this helps.

MSI Wind U100-641US 10-Inch Black Netbook - 3 Cell Battery Review

I found this computer to be what it was advertised and more. I did check into warranty info before I added the memory and was assured by MSI that adding memory would not void the warranty. It is very fast and easy to use. The only thing I found challenging is the touch pad while typing but there is a function key to disable it. I will eventually add the larger battery to gain more user time but currently it more than is sufficient for my use. i would highly recommend it to others and have already to those who have seen it.

I am very happy with this little notebook! Although I use a larger Mac laptop as my primary computer, this one is wonderful for it’s portability. It easily fits in my book bag. I read some of the more technical reviews here prior to purchasing, and was impressed. So far this little Eee lives up to the reviews.
I did install the optional 2 GB memory because I wanted to run photoshop and other software. Everything works just fine.
I would recommend the Asus eee 1000HA to anyone who is looking for a small portable computer.
