Acer Aspire One - The One
For around £ 100 less than an Asus Eee PC, you can the Acer Aspire One. It features 8.9 "display with 1024×600 resolution triggers, built-in webcam with microphone and Bluetooth is lacking, although the revamped Asus, the 901, simply plugging in a headset to this topic. It is good value, at Retail £ 200, the good news is, during the recession.
Aesthetically it is a very well made piece of kit as most Acer notebooks, available in 5different colors, gold tempting as "white shell", "sapphire-blue ',' brown ',' Onyx Black and Coral Pink." In addition, the forms are so much better than the field of refining such as Asus or Dell models.
However, it is hard to let down by its battery life, supposedly for 2-3 hours, although it offers an optional extra 6-cell battery, "an excellent 6 hours, offer to enjoy your Aspire One in complete freedom." Of course, that "freedom" you will again be afurther £ 80.
The interface is awkward and hard on the inept. The keyboard is very compact, and some people like the buttons too small for the fingers, surprising, considering that it should be 95% to be found. The touchpad itself is very smooth and shiny, and it lacks the response of the other laptops including the Asus. The mouse buttons are also on opposite sides of the touchpad, which is a very strange feeling because you always have to look to see where it is positioned. Overall, theInterface is poorly designed
However, these small quibbles "problems that should not be taken in any case too far. With an extra battery, the price is still less than competing models and the small interface is apparently a problem of mini-laptops will have to fight forever. It is not impossible to use, just embarrassing. I take it with a full-size desktop or laptop all the time leads to lazy fingers.
In terms of value for money, the Acer Aspire One onlybest mini laptop computer out there. It is also one of the cheapest, while not too different in terms of specifications from the market leader Asus, the Acer Aspire One is definitely a worthy competitor in the battle for mini-laptops.
