First, I love this netbook. And 'well built, looks great and has all the best keyboard I've seen .. Battery life is beautiful.
Now, for the problem. The touchpad is too sensitive. You must be very careful how you drag your finger on the button if not premature. It 'definitely a design flaw, because there are numerous references to the issue online. Too bad, I would love this computer as a 5 otherwise. I have a Toshiba laptop for 5 years which is built like a tank and still works well, so I bought this netbook over other, less costly in the first place. Toshiba hopefully will come with a solution to this problem.

Netbook purchasing this weekend last year. I also HP Mini N270 processor and 16GB solid state hard drive.

The screen is clear, has a good layout of the keyboard and processor N280 is faster than the HP. Very minor deficiencies are the fingerprints on the outer side of the touchpad is a (somewhat ') jumps. Touchpad is not smooth as the HP, but not enough for me to think about buying this machine for more than HP.

Battery life is good, because I used about 5 hours and was not charged.

Purchased for my wife. I would say that the keys are too small for a man … but you can adapt, if this is your primary PC. But in general my wife like - rather than using his laptop Acer IBM in his office upstairs away from everything. Spends most of the e-mail and internet and advertising. Long battery life. Best Buy for $ 299.

I'm not a gadget-geek in any way, I've never owned a laptop, I have a prepaid mobile phone, which is only a phone, I do not have cable television. I have no interest in most new gadgets / electronics outside, simply does not apply.

I had a review recorded video with my new mini-laptop, but it was broken.

At first I did not buy this item was a prize lottery. When I connected to the charger and started charging I could not even time to play. So I turned and immediately saw that there was a huge break vertical line along the length of the monitor ran. Needless to say I was able to load Windows and tried to connect to the internet where I intended to correct the problem. At that moment I realized that the Wi-Fi is useless. On top of this, when the laptop is moved an inch or so the pop-up window with an 'error' or message indicating that the experience of a hard sort of compromise and his head went into a place "safe." I can only assume that the elves had sabotaged the interior motion sick and my notebook in transit, and just about gnomes, have been sabotaging my new mini.

Have had the Asus for 4 days now. Awesome little netbook - setup is a breeze. Was able to jump onto my wireless network in no time (though i had to go to the command prompt to figure out the mac address..since my network only allows certain mac addresses).

I bought this as a conditional gift for my 3 years in games nickjr, but only if you stay in bed all night 5 days in a row. Has not so far, then gave me the opportunity to use this netbook a decent amount. I must say I'm impressed so far. I added 2 GB memory upgrade, I have MS Office, I bought the matching Toshiba external DVD, and I'm running anti-virus software. I like to use my VAIO laptop, and so far has worked perfectly without inertia ot stutter. It 'so light and easy to carry, and the battery lasts a long time, even after watching 2 DVDs. Visit Toshiba's website and download the new audio driver, which increases the volume a bit '. The speakers are not great, but certainly enough to watch a movie or listening to music in a tranquil environment. I begin to hope that my daughter is still to come in our bed at night, so I can continue to use this netbook!
